How does giving make you feel? Part 1

Emotional return

Giving comes from the heart with the desire to help others. Or, as they do in Nepal, with the desire of sharing what one has. I like to refer to them as “humans”.

We shouldn’t perceive giving to a cause as something we are forced to do or out of guilt.

When one contributes, you are consciously giving a part of yourself. Leaving something behind that belonged to you but that you are happy to part with. It might not be substantial or it might mean the world to you but you made the decision that you could part with this to help somebody else. This is an extremely generous action and it should not go without recognition. You can be proud of yourself and know that you are a citizen of this world that is conscious of his environment.

The links

At Wity, giving is the first link in a succession of events. Giving is a two-way channel and you deserve to know how your contribution benefits the cause. You can’t just be proud by making assumptions! We want to share the details, the facts and the results of your contribution.

Making the first step is the most important and we do not want to distract from this but we aim to ensure that once you have built the first link, that we keep building on it.

A chain starts with one link

To have belief you need to have something that helps you connect and have a purpose.

At Wity this is what we build. Thanks to your contribution, we can help others but we want to go above and beyond this. We like to share every success that we have achieved thanks to you. Giving you feedback every step of the way so that you understand the greatness of your action. We want you to emotionally connect with what you have contributed to.

At Wity we do not believe that in this day and age it is good enough to assume. Once you have built the first link we want to keep growing that chain. Making it stronger at every turn and ensuring that we build something that you like us, do not want to break.

At the heart of these values are trust, understanding and belief.
